TikTok is listed in the AICMOHQ integration catalog so agents and founders can identify the relevant connection surface without guessing at unsupported capabilities.

Setup

What to expect

Open Integrations in the dashboard to see the current setup requirements.

Credentials are handled through the dashboard and are never published in this documentation.

TikTok data to AI: choose the right connector

Connecting TikTok for publishing is not the same as giving an AI assistant access to analytics. AICMOHQ currently requests user.info.basic and video.publish; it does not request video.list. The connector remains partial, and public publishing has not been verified end-to-end. Do not expect a connected account to unlock video-performance reporting or an all-TikTok search tool.

Organic profiles, video data, or paid ads?

  • Organic data: TikTok’s Display API exposes user information, video lists and video queries. Its setup guide requires approved Login Kit and TikTok API products, approved user.info.basic and video.list scopes, and the account holder’s authorization. These are provider requirements, not a claim that AICMOHQ implements those reads.
  • Paid campaign data: use the separate TikTok Ads connector and check its availability. Organic-account OAuth does not authorize advertiser reporting.
  • AI analysis now: if you already have an authorized export from your reporting tool, supply a redacted CSV to your chosen AI assistant. This is a manual workflow, not an automatic AICMOHQ sync. Include the date window, timezone, metric definitions and account identifier; ask the model to flag missing data rather than infer it.

A safe data-to-AI workflow

  1. Choose organic content or paid campaigns before selecting a connector. Confirm the exact read tools, permissions, retention policy and costs with its provider.
  2. Authorize only accounts you control. Never paste access tokens, client secrets or unredacted personal data into a prompt.
  3. Ask: “Using only this export, compare videos in this date window by views and engagement. Show the denominator for every rate and cite each video ID. Do not infer conversions.”
  4. Check the answer against the original rows before using it to draft content. Review each draft before any publishing action.

Publishing prerequisites and limits

For AICMOHQ OAuth, the operator needs a configured TikTok client key, client secret and registered redirect URI; the user signs in and authorizes the account from the dashboard Integrations page. Connection success is not proof of a completed post. TikTok’s Content Sharing Guidelines restrict unaudited Direct Post clients to private accounts and SELF_ONLY visibility, with a five-user posting cap per 24 hours. Creator posting caps also apply (typically around 15 posts per day, shared across clients); these are not guaranteed throughput.

Public posting requires TikTok’s applicable review/audit and user consent. AICMOHQ’s beta label is not a claim of TikTok audit approval. An API initialization ID alone does not prove that a video finished processing or became publicly visible.

Approval-first by default

A catalog entry does not grant an agent permission to publish or send anything. Connectors remain subject to workspace configuration, credits, provider limits, and human approval.
